Holiday season is in full swing, and that usually means indulging and feasting with friends and family. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but there are things that you can do to help ensure that your nutrition and fitness goals continue to be met. One way to do this is to create a fitness bucket list. Check out below for some great ideas.
Walk More
One of the easiest ways to incorporate more exercise into your everyday schedule is to walk more. Walking is one of the best exercises that you can do, and you can do it anywhere! Take a lovely evening walk after dinner. Park your car farther away from your office, or get off a stop early from the train. By doing simple activities like these, you automatically incorporate activity into your routine with minimal effort.
Stretch More
Promise yourself that you’re going to take care of your body by doing more stretching. With such a heavy emphasis on fitness and exercise, many people forget that stretching is just as important. Stretching allows you to be more flexible and helps prevent injury. It’s something you can do watching TV, listening to music, or during any other relaxing activity.
Try Something New
It’s great that you have a core exercise plan, but there are other things that you can do to naturally incorporate more activity into your life. Learn zumba, or take that ballet class that you’ve dreaming about since you were five. There are so many fun exercises and activities to do that seem more like fun than exercise.
